Nick O’Hern played a variety of sports growing up in Perth, Australia but his passion for golf won over. After completing a traineeship to become a golf professional, his journey to play the game for a living began at the age of 22.
Struggling to break 80 in his early years as a pro, he transformed himself into one of the most consistent players in the world through hard work, determination and a great team around him. In a 20-year career he played against the best players in the world on all the major tours, reached a career high of No. 16 in the Official Golf World Rankings and spent several years in the Top 50. Nick also played for the International Team at two Presidents Cups, represented Australia at two World Cups and is most well known for being the only man to beat World No. 1 Tiger Woods twice in the Accenture World Match Play Championship.
His best-selling book, Tour Mentality – Inside the Mind of a Tour Pro, has been critically acclaimed among his peers. Now residing in Melbourne, Australia he conducts unique golf experiences for corporate and private clients, and mentor’s golfers of all levels.
