Gatsby Rhythm Kings – Melbourne’s very own 1920’s orchestra.
Each musician in the Gatsby Rhythm Kings under the leadership of Mr Nolte is an exponent of jazz and ragtime in their own right. Authenticity is their middle name, and after witnessing one performance, you will wish it were still 1926.
Gatsby Rhythm Kings first performed as a unit in 2007, now five years on is one of Australia’s most convincing 1920’s styled hot dance and jazz orchestras. Throughout this time the Gatsby Rhythm Kings have been involved in many public venue performances, jazz festivals, private events, radio broadcasts and professional film work. All of which have been Victoria based up until 2012, with bookings now extending interstate.
