Elan string quartet performance experience includes concerts, corporate events and Private Wedding Functions
The Elan string quartet has extensive performance experience, entertaining at a wide variety of events ranging from the concert platform, to performances for corporate and private functions. Earlier this year, the quartet played at the Melbourne Concert Hall with the internationally renowned guitarist Slava Gregorian. This was shortly followed by an invitation from the German Consul General to provide a program of music to honor the visit of the German President. In the corporate event Entertainment sphere the élan string quartet gave a concert for the Commonwealth Bank and performed at the Melbourne International Fashion Festival, appearing live on Network 10. Members of élan have all completed tertiary studies specializing in music performance. As well as performing in the élan string quartet, individual members also perform in other prestigious ensembles including the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Made Opera and the Australian Philharmonic Orchestra The élan string quartet performs a wide variety of music, and may be enlarged to for a string orchestra or ensembles with woodwind, or reduced to perform as a trio, duo, or solo
